Newborn sessions are thoughtfully designed to be calm, simple, and focused on preserving your baby’s earliest days with care and intention. Each session includes professional guidance, access to studio props and wraps, and a personalized ordering experience.
NAdditional artwork and products may be purchased following your session. On average, families invest between $600 and $1,000 on finished artwork.

What to Expect
1. INQUIRE
Review my work and offerings and fill out my contact form to inquire about a session!
2. CONNECT & SCHEDULE
We have your session where I prompt you into natural posing that is both fun and highlights your personalities.
3. SESSION
We will connect and make sure we are a great fit to work together on capturing your beautiful memories. Then we will schedule and go over all of the details!
4. DELIVERY
Following your session, you will attend a guided reveal and ordering appointment where you will select your finished artwork. Families may choose from framed portraits, fine art prints, albums, and heirloom keepsake pieces.
On average, families invest between $600 and $1,000 on artwork and products after their heirloom session.

When should I schedule my newborn PHOTOGRAPHY session?
It is recommended to book your newborn session during your second trimester to ensure availability. Due dates are reserved on the calendar, with session dates finalized after baby arrives. If your baby has already been born or you are outside of this booking window, you are welcome to inquire to check current availability.
How old should my baby be for a newborn PHOTOGRAPHY session?
Newborn sessions are ideally scheduled within the first fourteen days after birth, when babies are sleepiest and most comfortable. Sessions can still take place within the first month, though posing may be more lifestyle focused.
Do newborn sessions take place in studio or at home?
All newborn sessions take place in my bright, clean studio located in downtown Covington. The studio is designed to be calm, comfortable, and well suited for newborn photography.
How do you keep babies safe during newborn photography?
Your baby’s safety is always the top priority. Sessions are completely baby led, with gentle posing and constant attention to comfort and support. Years of experience and a calm approach ensure a safe and peaceful environment throughout the session.
What if my baby cries or will not sleep?
This is completely normal. As a mother of four with extensive experience working with infants, I allow plenty of time for soothing, feeding, and cuddling. Sessions move at your baby’s pace, ensuring a relaxed experience for everyone.
Do you provide wraps, swaddles, or outfits?
Yes. A selection of soft wraps, swaddles, and simple newborn pieces are provided for your session. All items are chosen to maintain a timeless and classic look.
Can parents and siblings be included in the newborn session?
Yes. Parent and sibling portraits are included with the Signature Newborn Session. The Petite Newborn Session is designed for baby only portraits.
How long does a newborn photography session last?
Newborn sessions typically last up to one to two hours to allow ample time for feeding, soothing, and gentle transitions.

I’m ErIKA, a mother of four, early childhood educator, and lifelong lover of children and family connection.
I began photographing families in 2020 during the Front Porch Project, and what started as a way to serve my community quickly became a calling. My background in early childhood education shapes the way I approach each session, blending patience, intention, and gentle guidance. Families are supported every step of the way, creating an experience that feels seamless and results in timeless, meaningful artwork.
